Students who wish to take admission to NIE Mysore BE programme at the South Campus must submit the application form. To apply, students can visit the institute's official website. After landing on the website, go to the admissions tab and click on the 'Apply Now' button. Futher, fill out the form displaying on the screen. By filling the form, students generate a new student account. Further, log in to the account, fill the application form and submit the application fees.

Many BE-offering colleges in Bangalore accepts KCET for admission to the BE programme. One of those institute is NIE Mysore. As per official sources, the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has announced the KCET exam dates 2025. As per that, the exam is scheduled to be held on Apr 16 and Apr 17, 2025.

Aspirants who are willing to get admission to the NIE Mysore South Campus BE programme must fulfill the conditions stated in the eligibility criteria.
As per the criteria, candidates seeking entrance exam-based admission must have completed Class 12 or an equivalent exam with English as one of the languages and obtained at least 45% aggregate in Physics, Mathematics along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Electronics/Computer (40% aggregate for reserved category).

Yes, BE is available at NIE Mysore. This undergraduate course is offered in full-time mode. Moreover, it is spread across various specialisations, including BE in Industrial and Production Engineering, BE in Civil Engineering, BE in Mechanical Engineering, and more.
The duration of this programme is four years. The institute also offers a special BE in Civil Engineering for employee diploma holders. Admission to this programme is based on various channels, entrance exam scores, manegement quota and sports quota.

NIE Mysore has released the cutoff data for 2024. As per the latest information available, the Karnataka PGCET cutoff percentile for M.Tech admissions at the South Campus ranged from 1994 to 3349 for the General AI category. Earlier, in 2023, the closing rank cutoff for the same category of students ranged from 1736 to 5434.

Both NIE Mysore and PES University are good options to pursue MTech. However, in terms of affordability, NIE Mysore is more affordable since the tuition fee to pursue M.Tech at NIE Mysore is INR 1.19 lakh, and the tuition fee to pursue M.Tech at PES University is INR 4 lakh.
