BMS Institute of Technology gives 3 diff scholarships to students. The first scholarship is given on a quota basis. The scholarships are given to candidates from the SC/ST category based on the students' eligibility criteria. As of now, BMSIT Bangalore placements 2024 concluded with 700+ job offers and the highest salary of INR 26.4 LPA. The total number of companies involved was 150+ and the students that received a placement were around INR 600+ with a median salary of INR 6 LPA. The average salary, on the other hand, was around INR 7.9 LPA. Based on the latest stats of 2024, 1300+ BMSIT Bangalore students received internships wherein, 600+ were paid internships with a minimum stipend of INR 10k per month. The the highest monthly stipend raised is around INR 50k for the same year.

BMSIT Bangalore placements observed a hike in the IT/ITES sector with around 56% of companies visiting the campus for the year 2023 batch. Sectors such as core engineering marked 22% of companies visiting the campus, while the BFSI sector marked 6% and IT/Product marked another 9% for the placements. Healthcare and other sectors made a total percentage of 4% and 3%, during the same year.

As per the recent stats of the 2024 cut-off, BMSIT COMEDK for the General Home State quota stood between 26964 and 46639. In the year 2023, KCET concluded the cut-off rank marking for BE in Computer Science and Engineering and BE in Information Science and Engineering as highly competitive specialisations. The closing ranks for BMSIT Bangalore cut-off 2023 for the course BE in Computer Science and Engineering stood at 5164. The same course closed at 6305 for the Home State General category for the year 2023. Similarly, 2022 and 2021 saw an increase in the cut-off trend for highly competitive courses.
