The University of Mysore take an entrance exam for admission in post graduate degree. The exams take on offline mode the entrance exam known as post graduate entrance exam (PGEE). The exam is multiple question programmers to test the candidate knowledge. The University also accepted national and state level entrance exam.

As its KCET rank is 44,000, getting admission in the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) branch of University BDT College of Engineering (UBDTCE), Davanagere, could be out of reach. The closing ranks for CSE at UBDTCE used to be considerably lower in earlier years.

The college Acharya Institute of Technology Bangalore enjoys affiliation with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). There is not any freedom or autonomous status.
The institution entirely runs under this university's laws and regulations. It provides undergraduate and postgraduate programs, and all the programs' curriculums and degrees are connected with VTU's control. Thus, it doesn't possess the autonomy to set up its own courses or give a degree.
