The rankings of the institute in the 'Commerce' category have displayed a stable trend when evaluated against the previous year's ranking. In 2023, MLACW's rank is #63, the same as last year's rank in the 'Commerce' category by the Outlook ranking. However, as per the latest 2024 outlook ranking report the MLACW climbed 2 ranks to # 61 in the ‘Accounting & Commerce’ category.

Maharani Lakshmi Ammanni College for Women is ranked across categories by some of the prominent national ranking bodies, like India Today, Outlook, etc. The ranking under Accounting & Commerce by the India Toady was #62 in 2021 and #69 in 2022.
