IIT Kharagpur is a government institute and was established in 1951. The institute is among the best Engineering Institutes in the country. It offers various courses such as BTech, MTech, and MBA. No, IIT Kharagpur does not offer direct admission to the students. Admission to all the courses is either entrance-based or is subject to rigorous selection rounds inclusive of Personal Interviews conducted by the institute. The institute accepts JEE Advanced scores for admission to BTech.
