The candidate must have passed the 10+2 exam in any one of the following courses: mathematics, applied mathematics, or any language from List A; in the other two subjects, at least one must be from List B1 of any accredited Board or Council. Alternatively, candidates who have taken any one of the List A languages along with accounting or bookkeeping and any two subjects—at least one of which needs to be from List B1—may also apply. For last year, the closing rank for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) was 15896 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in M S Ramaiah Medical College.
