Kalyani University BSc admissions are made based on student’s performance in Class 12. Once the university releases the merit list, shortlisted candidates are required to get their documents verified by the university. Following is the list of the required documents:

Kalyani university BSc seats are allocated based on merit in Class 12. However, the seat allocation is also subject to reservation policy. The university’s seat reservation states the following:
- 22% of the total seats are reserved for SC candidates
- 6% of the total seats are reserved for the ST candidates
- 17% of the total seats are reserved for the OBC candidates
- 3% of the total number of seats in each subject shall be reserved for physically challenged candidates
