Yes, you can get direct admission in some courses at GNIPST, while some courses requires entrance test like WBJEE, JEE mains, WBCHSE.

Only BBA requires class 12th result of CBSE at GNIPST.

While courses like D.pharma, and M.Pharma is  on the basis of B.Pharma degree. B Pharma require WBJEE, JEE mains.

B.Sc requires class 12th from CBSE and an entrance exam of WBCHSC.

Most courses at GNIPST are based on entrance exam.

B.Sc. in Biotechnology at GNIPST is a 3 years course at the UG level. The course offers admission to 40 students. The total tuition fee for GNIPST B.Sc. in Biotechnology is INR 2.50 Lakh. Apart from the tuition fee, there is a one-time admission fee of amount INR 18,150, and a hostel fee of amount INR 2.21 Lacs that students are required to pay in addition to the tuition fee.

Selection for the MD programme at Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata is based on the NEET-PG entrance examination conducted by the Director General of Health Science. The merit list is prepared based on candidates' scores in NEET PG, and counseling is conducted by the DGHS. Candidates who clear the cut-off score of NEET-PG will be forwarded to complete the admission process.

There are various courses offered by the institute which are MBBS, BDS, MD, MDS, MS, PG Diploma and many more. All courses are decent in terms of the opportunities provided to the students.
