Tech admissions, students must secure 45% in 10+2 in PCM and qualify for either WB-JEE or JEE Main or AMPAI. The merit list is prepared by MAKAUT for counselling. BBA and BCA admissions are offered on the basis of scores obtained in 10+2 in relevant compulsory subjects. Admissions are based upon MAKAUT Counselling.

Yes, JIS University follows a merit-based admission process for most of its courses, and direct admission is generally not offered. However, there are certain courses and programs where direct admission may be possible.
