To be eligible for admission to St. Xavier’s College Kolkata for English Honours, a candidate must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate with 45% marks in at least four subjects including English and Pure Mathematics/Business Mathematics/Statistics and must have passed in all subjects as per the respective board/council pass marks.

The candidate must have studied and passed in English language in the +2 level English language. If the candidate does not have English as a subject in +2 level, he/she shall not be eligible to apply.

 Curriculum Is Well Structured And Detailed, Culture Is Rich Students Are Too Involved In Social Activities, Labs Are Well Equipped And Well Maintained. The placement's pretty good. Companies visit after 5-6th sem. TCS, Wipro, cognizant, Capgemini, Infosys, EY and some others are visiting this campus. A good placement rate of 80 per cent is given to most students. The average package is 600000inr. Around 12 to 15 LPA is the highest package.

Praxis Business School has an eligibility of minimum above 60% throughout the previous board examinations. He/She must be aware of the Social Affairs and should have good communication and behaviour. He/She should have a fluency on English. Also, the candidate must complete their graduation degree and sould have 60% or above percentage. The cutoff trend for medical Courses at Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre has been increasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for medical courses. under general category for all India quota was 16535. In 2022, it increased to 509606.

The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:
