Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital, and Research Centre has implemented a dress code policy that all students are obliged to adhere to. This policy mandates the wearing of an apron or lab coat, a name badge, and an identity card during weekdays, working days, and clinical postings. Additionally, students are expected to dress respectfully in a manner befitting aspiring doctors or healthcare professionals, as failure to do so may result in disciplinary measures being taken.

The mess food is not that good seriously as I am also residing in the hostel provided by Apex and we have our breakfast and dinner at our place, Apex boys hostel at Sitapura and the lunch at Apex girls hostel. The food you can say is just eatable not more than that. Even the menu decided is not that good and in my suggestion, you should try other options rather than choosing Apex hostel's mess food.

I have been residing in Apex hostel for 1 year and till now I have got the idea about the food being provided so I would recommend you to not to go with hostel food instead you can look for other options.

One thing I would like to clear that there are two types of exams which occurs in an university. These are mid semester exams and the final semester exams. There is no criteria of pass or fail in mid sem exams. One gets the result after the final semester exams only. The total marks are calculated by the marks scored by you in the mid sems exams and the final exams along with the subject enrichment. You need to score atleast 40 marks to pass a subject out of 100. If you have scored a total of 40 marks then you are passed but if somehow you couldn't make it then you are given a result 'Back' which means you have to give a back paper. Th
