Yes, of course the branch bio medical is good for girls as it contains a lot of research works and also a chance to work with the best doctor's and hospitals of the town. Job scope in bio-medical in India is quite low. Many students who pursue bio medical generally go for research works in IIT's. Although if you do well in this field you will definitely get a job as in metro cities as it is compulsory to keep a bio medical engineer in every hospital. Best of luck.

Hello Komal,
Yes, IIST is a great college with a beautiful infrastructure, hostel and canteen facilities with proper transportation. The campus is not too far from the city and is well connected. The faculty members take care of each student personally if you are in the good books. All the labs are well-equipped, the crowd in the campus is well balanced between localites and non-localites. Great scholarships are available too for students besides the scholarship for reserved category.

There are no differences between the two. Every private institute runs according to their own way like cutoff marks for admission, admission fees, etc. But they must conduct the examination under a government-registered university, so it is equivalent with government (regional or central) institutes.

The fee structure of this institute is not available anywhere online. You should check with the college directly for the information.
