Placements of MITS are good but then look at the placements of some good private universities like LPU, VIT, SRM, too. Check out there too. They have their different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of both. You can get admission through the DAVV CET score. Depending on the marks obtained, the college will be allotted to you through counselling.

If your preferred location is Indore, I would say PIMR is the second best option you have after IMS. As far as I know, placements are average.

Please contact them for the international internship, otherwise, they give an internship in reputed chains of hotels in India The placements are quite good. In Our country too students can have good exposure in Industrial training

As you have cleared JEE Mains and you have passed your 12th with first division, you can easily get IT branch in various private engineering colleges.
But it will be a bit difficult to get enrolled in IT in a government college.
But, for sure, you can get IT in private institutes easily.
