SCMC Pune selects candidates for admission to BA in Mass Communication based on SET scores. Aspirants do need to also pass the personal interview round conducted by the college for final selection. Candidates who pass both the selection rounds are only offered seat in BA programme of SCMC Pune.

SIU offers Merit Scholarship Scheme for students from North-East Region. SCMC Pune students fulfilling below criteria can apply for this scholarship:

• Meritorious and deserving students from any of the eight states-Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Arunanchal Pradesh, Tripura, Manipur, Mizoram and Sikkim get this scholarship. 

The total tuition fees is INR 13.8 lakh for BA in Mass Communication at SCMC Pune. Aspirants also need to pay a refundable institute deposit of INR 20,000. Candidates who are selected for admission need to pay the fees to confirm their seat in the college.

SCMC Pune has 60 seats in BBA programme. Candidates are offered seat in BBA based on their SET scores. Aspirants selected based on SET also need to pass the personal interview round for admission. Selected candidates need to pay the course fees to confirm their seat.

The school has disclosed the course-wise number of students placed for SDSOS placements 2025. Master in Physiotherapy recorded the highest number of students placed, i.e. 29. The number of students placed in MSc Biological Science, Integrated MSc Biomedical Science and MSc Chemistry was 9, 4 and 4.
