To apply for St. Xavier's College BSc course, you must have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam from any recognised board. For most BSc courses, it is necessary to have had a Science background at class 12 level. Minimum marks requirement for General category is 45%, while for reserved, it is 40%. Though the admission is merit-based, the process is stringent and the college is not easy to get into.

Case B is for "In-house" students who completed their Junior College at St. Xavier's. Case C consists of "External" applicants coming from other schools or boards.
