No, Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh College of Law does not offer a 100% scholarship. The Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Vasatigruh Nirvah Bhatta Yojna provides a hostel maintenance allowance, not a full scholarship. The scheme provides financial assistance to students from economically weaker sections, including marginal farmers, registered laborers, and those with family incomes below a certain threshold. The amount varies based on the student's location and whether they are enrolled in a professional or non-professional course.

Due to its 60-seat constraint, admission to Shri Shivaji Law College, Kandhar for LL.B. is somewhat tough. Candidates must have a competitive MH CET Law score and a Bachelor degree of 45% (42% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST) in order to be admitted on a merit basis; the cutoffs fluctuate every year and are usually in the mid-range. On May 3–4, 2025 the 2025 MH CET Law test will take place followed by counseling. An simpler approach is provided by management quota, but there are fewer seats and greater fees Timely application and a strong academic record greatly increase chances.

An MH CET Law score is not necessary for direct admission to the LL.B. programme at Shri Shivaji Law College, Kandhar, which is offered through management quota seats. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree from Maharashtra with 45% of the possible points (42% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST). After submitting an application in person or online at sslck.org, candidates must undergo an interview and document verification. There are fewer management quota seats available (usually 10–15% of the 60 seats), and admission costs are greater than for merit-based admissions. Due to strong demand, early application is advised.
