The Pravara Rural College of Pharmacy was established by the Pravara Rural Education Society in the year 1981. KJ Somaiya College of Engineering is a constituent college of the prestigious Somaiya Vidyavihar University. The institute offers undergraduate B.Tech courses under its engineering department. Admissions to this course are granted on the basis of national-level entrance examinations such as JEE Main, MHT-CET, SAT, and PERA-CET. The basic eligibility criteria for B.Tech is:
passed the HSC or its equivalent 10+2 level examination in India, with physics and mathematics as mandatory subjects, as well as one of the following (chemistry, biotechnology, biology, technical vocational subjects). obtained at least 45% in aggregate in 10+2 grade. The student must have taken the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) or the JEE-Main (Paper-1) or the PERA CET or the MHT-CET exam. There is no separate cutoff for the SAT, but based on previous year's trends, a student is eligible to apply if she or he has a non-zero score on the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT). Admission Process:
For open merit seats and the seats reserved under categories (i) and (iv) to (ix) merit shall be determined on the basis of marks secured by a candidate in the qualifying examination i.e., (10+2 examination) and the Entrance Test (JUET) conducted by the University.
In the case of reserved categories (ii) and (iii) merit shall be determined as per rules prescribed by the University of Jammu.
Eligibility Criteria:
Seeking admission into a 5-year law course only the 10th and 12th qualification suffices with the 10th being the basic qualification for seeking admission into the 5-year law course.
The qualifications for 10th and 12th may be obtained through any mode (distance/correspondence / open schooling method).
And the Pass percentage is 45% for the general category, 42% for the OBC category, and 40% for SC/ST category.
