Open distance B.Com in Mumbai University: You have to study the whole syllabus, there are higher chances of getting failed. Exam centers are located in any direction (you might or might be not aware of it). Many of my friends failed and then later they joined the college. St Joseph's College of Commerce (SJCC) is an Autonomous College in Bangalore. It is 130+ years old Institute. It has very big name in the city. It ranks top 8th commerce college in India and top 2nd in Bangalore. It totally depends on you if you want to attend class regularly you can and if you don't want to attend class, then there are so many options like distance MBA if you are doing job and not able to attend the classes.

There any many other top colleges in Mumbai such as SPJIMR, NMIMS, JBIMS, IIT MUMBAI, NITIE MUMBAI. Target these colleges. These colleges will give you better opportunities. Also, most important thing in brand which is essential in doing EMBA.

It is pretty new course. Right now, every college is taking a path of Great Lakes Chennai which has got the best Analytics faculty in India and started offering Analytics way back in 2012 or so. Look for other options also if you are considering doing Analytics course. You will find other better options.

Venky is better for B.Com (Hons) while Narsee Monjee is better for management courses. Moreover, it's DU affiliated and is one of the top government colleges for commerce.

It is not compulsory; you can stay wherever you want to. The college generally specifies whether a student should stay only in a hostel or not. Just ensure your residence is in close proximity of the college to save on the traveling time.

Hello! Welingkar is a much better option than BIMTECH due to its placements, location advantage, better brand name, among others. You may keep BIMTECH as a backup.

Yes, you're making a right decision for going for job for 2 years and preparing side by side for MBA. Now, it will be very hectic for to manage both but as time goes on you will get use to it. Coaching Institute like TIMES, Chaitanya and many more have a special batch for working people. Very few good colleges provide part time services like SIES, WE school etc. Or else, sometimes, if you're good at your work place then company itself motivate to go for MBA. Let me know if you need any help.
