While there isn't a fixed cutoff percentage for SSC marks, a strong score like 86% increases your chances.

With this score in your SSC, you have a good chance of getting admission to Government Polytechnic Mumbai for a Diploma program, as it's a reputable institute and 86% is a very good score.

The candidate should have appeared for UCEED / NID DAT / NIFT / PERA-CET / NATA / JEE Main Paper 2 Exam/ SVUET / MAH Design CET 2025 and should submit the score card of any of these qualifying examinations.

For admission to Somaiya Vidyavihar's BTech programme in 2025, candidates must complete an online application. To be considered for admission.  Candidates (pursuing HSC 2025/completed HSC in 2024 or before) willing to pursue a B.Tech degree can submit the online preadmission form available on the college admission website with payment of non-refundable/non-transferable application fees of INR 2000.

Somaiya Vidyavihar admission 2025 for BTech is online application based, for consideration of admission the candidate should go through with the application process. The steps for the application process is as follows:

Step 1: Candidates (pursuing HSC 2025 /completed HSC in 2024 or before) willing to pursue B.Tech degree can submit the online preadmission form available on college Admission website with payment of non-refundable/ non-transferable application fees INR 2000.
