Yes, taking admission into IHM Mumbai is considered competitive. However, for entrance-based admission candidates have to apply on the website of the respective entrance exam. The institute requiring a strong performance on the NCHMCT JEE entrance exam and a good rank to secure a seat at IHMCTAN Mumbai, especially for the general category. In 2024, the last round closing rank for the BSc programme in the General AI quota was 1363, while in 2023 it was 903, and in 2022, it was 617.
