Defense Scholarship will be awarded on a first cum first basis to wards of parents who are employed by the Defence Services i.e. Army, Airforce, and Navy. To avail this scholarship, the candidate should have undergone the VU selection process and earned qualifying marks prescribed for the merit scholarships and have been recommended by the panel members in the ASP for both admissions and scholarship. Yes, you can get direct admission to SIT through management quota however seats are limited, and also fees are high.
On merit, you need to have a good score in the JEE Mains exam. The college also accepts scores of other national-level exams such as the VITEEE, BITSAT, and GMAT.
SIT is a good college for engineering and technology. The college has a good infrastructure and the faculty members are qualified and experienced. The college also has a good placement record.
