- State Quota for Maharashtra (via MHT CET)
Home State Candidates must score at least 135–150+ points out of 200 in the MHT CET examination. - To be eligible for the All India Seats Quota (via JEE Mains), general category students must score between 5,000 and 8,000 .

The expected minimum score required to be admitted to VJTI's M.Tech programs -
- GATE score: More than 600 points out of 1000
The GATE scores of the students are used to shortlist them first. A better chance of making the cutoff is ensured if one scores more than 600 out of 1000.
