No, you cannot get direct admission in IIT Bombay for any undergraduate programme. You need to appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced and qualify the cutoffs to be eligible for admission in IIT Bombay. The JEE Advanced 2024 exam will be conducted on May 26, 2024 and the registration will start from April 21, 2024.

However, if you have passed your qualifying degree from any Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) with a valid GATE score, then you may be eligible for direct admission to some postgraduate programmes, such as MTech, without having to appear for GATE. Yes, a student must score 85% or more in the WWI entrance exam to apply for a scholarship. Scholarship interviews are conducted by a panel and the decision to award the scholarship rests with them. WWI Scholarships are awarded on the basis of means and merit.
