Universal College of Engineering features BTech across 5 specialisations of Civil Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, etc. The course fee depends on the specialisation which is usually INR 2.84 Lakhs, not accounting for any extra charges / fees such as hostel fees. The college also intends on introducing BVoc courses which have not had their fees announced yet.

The Universal College of Engineering does not release their own application forms instead admissions depend on entrance exams and their counselling process such as JEE Mains or MH CET. The college the timeline set by these exam conducting bodies and releases the merit lists and allows for admissions according to the exam cycle. The mode of application for University College of Engineering is majorly online. Admissions depend on entrance exam scores and counselling such as JEE Mains and MH CET. Students can apply through their respective exam portal and choose Universal College of Engineering and their preferred specialisations during the counselling process.

Students must submit the following documents for Universal College of Engineering course admissions:
- Class 10 and Class 12 Marksheets.
- JEE Mains or MH CET scorecard.
- School/College leaving certificate.
- Birth Certificate/Passport (for Indian candidates).
- Physical Fitness certificate.
- Passports sized photographs (5 copies).
- Gap year affidavit (if applicable).
Students may also be required to submit other documents such as Undertaking for interim fees, Notarised compliance affidavit, etc.

No, though it may seem that Universal College of Engineering accepts only MHCET scores / counselling for its BTech course admissions. But the college also accepts other national level entrance exams such as JEE Mains for admission to its various BTech courses and specialisations. The college also plans to introduce BVoc course to students who wish to study at Universal College Kaman.

For admissions to Universal College of Engineering Vasai students must first meet the course specific requirements such as having passed Class 12 from a recognised board with the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Physics, Maths and Vocational. Students must also have an aggregate score of 50% or 45% for reserved categories. Admissions depend on entrance exam scores such as MHCET.
