Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology admissions are open for 2026 session. The applications are currently open for Phase I of KIITEE. The deemed-to-be university conducts KIITEE for admission to UG and PG courses. Aspirants can apply online for the preferred course.

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology offers admission to most of the courses based on entrance exam scores. The deemed-to-be university also considers academic performance of the aspirants for selection. Aspirants need to appear for KIITEE or have a score in any other entrance exam accepted by the university for admission.

Aspirants must complete Class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with at least 45% aggregate to apply for BSc Nursing programme at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. 

Aspirants must pass Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with at least 60% aggregate to apply for BTech at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology.

Aspirants must pass Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology with a minimum of 60% aggregate for BTech in Biotechnology.

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology does offer lateral entry to BTech programme. Students selected for lateral entry get direct admission in the second year of the course. Candidates must pass a three-year Diploma course in Engineering with a minimum of 60% aggregate from State Council of Technical Education of any state or equivalent to apply for BTech (LE).

Aspirants must pass Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology with a minimum of 60% aggregate to apply for BTech-MTech Dual degree in Biotechnology at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology.

CAT is one of the accepting exams for admission to MBA programme at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. Aspirants can also get into MBA via their scores in MAT, CMAT, etc. Candidates can also appear for KIITEE Management conducted by KIIT.

The total tuition fees for BBA is INR 10.5 lakh at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. Aspirants need to pay the course fees at the time of admission to confirm their seat. The total fees may include other components such as caution deposit, exam fees, etc.

The BTech CSE last round rank for the General AI category in 2025 was 4245. In 2024 and 2023, the cutoff in the last round was 3365 and 4218, respectively. This difference in the ranks suggests the cutoff trend has been fluctuating over the years. Please note that other categories will have different cutoff trends.
