Admission to the TIET MSc course is merit-based, which candidates usually evaluate on the basis of scores achieved in Class 12 or bachelor's/BSc degrees. Admissions for all the MSc programmes shall be carried out on a merit list prepared by giving 40% weightage to Class 12 marks and 60% weightage to Graduation marks (aggregate marks up to the pre-final year). The minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST) in graduation shall be required to qualify for admission. Graduation should be from a recognised University.

Thapar University cutoff 2024 has been released for PGDM course through NMAT exam. To get into Thapar University, the required cutoff score for the open category candidates stood at 150 in 2024. It remained same as of the NMAT 2023 cutoff. However, in 2022, it stood at 140. For more details on cutoff, check-out this page.

As per the Thapar University NMAT cutoff 2024, the last-round cutoff for MBA in Finance course stood at 150 for admission to Thapar University for the General category students in the All India quota. So, the assumed expected cutoff for the upcoming admission session 2025 can stood at for the General AI category candidates. Although, it is an estimated guess and the NMAT cutoff 2025 is subject to many factors such as competition, difficulty level of the exam, and previous year trend.
