The two-year MA programme at Punjabi University has 34 specialisations and is designed to give students advanced knowledge and abilities. The MA programme has a tuition price ranging from INR 18.7 Lakh to INR 1.6 crore. With the exception of the TV and Film Production specialty, which involves an aptitude exam, admission is mostly determined by merit. For the Home State, Thapar University BE cutoff 2024 for R1 ranged between 47743 and 291981. On analysing both the Quota ranks, it can be concluded that the All India ranks are more competitive. Also, the counselling process for the University concluded after the release of the JEE Main Round 4 seat allotment in 2023. So, from the past trends, it can be anticipated that Thapar University JEE Main Counselling 2024 will be conducted in four rounds.

VIT and Thapar are both great options. With fewer students in each session, Thapar may provide a more individualized experience, but VIT's several campuses and solid business connections give students wider exposure.

LM Thapar School of Management has concluded its placement drive for the batch passing out in 2022. The institute has not disclosed the complete statistics for the placement drive 2021-22. As per the limited official data available, the the highest and average package offered during LMTSM placements 2022 stood at INR 21.35 LPA and INR 7.01 LPA, respectively. A total of 77 recruiters participated in the placement process 2022 and placed students in various job roles. The top recruiters of LM Thapar School of Management in 2022 included American Express, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Volvo Eicher, Hyundai, Xiaomi, Xebia, Accenture, Reliance, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, etc.
