FFE Scholarship of RGNUL rewards academically bright but economically-weak students. The scholarship is open to students fulfiling the below criteria:
- The combined family income of the students should be INR 3 Lacs or less per annum
- Aspirants must pass HSc/ intermediate/ CBSE/ ISC or equivalent not earlier than 2022, 2023 or 2024

RGNUL provides scholarships to meritorious or financially-weak students. The university offers Foundation for Excellence Scholarship. However, students can also apply for scholarships offered by state or central government. Thapar University follows a typical class schedule with lectures and labs running from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays. The usual class timings are:
Morning session: 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Afternoon session: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM
There is a 1-hour lunch break from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Labs and tutorials are generally scheduled in the afternoon session. The university operates Monday to Friday, with no classes on weekends.

The bad news is that Punjabi University, Patiala, does not offer a BA in Film and TV Production.
The strong point of the university's presence in the field of media studies has been through its Centre for Advanced Media Studies. Yet, the undergraduate course being offered is B.A. (Hons.) in Journalism, Mass Communication, and Media Technology. It does provide some good grounding in media but no specialisation in film and TV production at the undergraduate level.

The entire tuition charge for BA courses ranges from INR 25,560 to INR 4.12 lacs. Punjabi University provides a BA. In a variety of humanities and languages. Candidates seeking admission to these courses must meet the basic eligibility criteria. The essential requirements are that the candidate have passed Class 12 with at least 50 percent aggregate marks in any discipline. The selection will be based on the 70/30 ratios. The qualifying examination will be given 70% weightage, with the aptitude test/audition/interview receiving 30%.
