Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. Puducherry Technological University (PTU) is the first state University of Union Territory of Puducherry. It seamlessly came into existence on 5th September 2020 upon the elevation of erstwhile Pondicherry Engineering College - PEC (established in the year 1985 under the 7th five-year plan) with the University status. Pondicherry Engineering College Admissions Process:
The admissions to the eligible candidates will be given on the basis of their scores in CENTAC. The Centralized Admissions Committee which is abbreviated as CENTAC is constituted by the Government of Puducherry every academic year. It is a gateway for interested candidates to seek admissions to the undergraduate and lateral entry engineering programmes offered in the university and all the colleges in the state. Central Admission Committee CENTAC conducts CENTAC admission, which is a counselling process, for admissions to undergraduate engineering programmes. Hope it helps.
