Army Institute of Technology, popularly known as AIT, was established in 1994. It is a private institute located in Pune. It is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. It is accredited by NAAC with a Grade 'A'. NBA accreditation is given for all UG Programs. It also has approval of AICTE. In 2025 the college got an NIRF rank of  #201-300 in the Engineering category. Well-experienced faculty, good infrastructure, multiple internships & placement opportunities, etc. makes it a good college.

The fee structure varies for different courses based on the stream, level & duration of the courses. Add on fees like that of hostels can also be included in the yearly fee structure if one opts for it. Once the admission cycle starts for any course, the college will give all the information about the fee structure on its official page.

Army Institute of Technology Pune is one of the top colleges in India in the field of Engineering. It is accredited by NAAC with a Grade 'A'. In 2025 the college got an overall rank of NIRF #201-300 in the Engineering category. B.E. courses are the most popular among the students. The faculty for these courses are well experienced & trained. The placement cell is highly active and several internships & placement opportunities are provided to the students. Overall AIT Pune is good college to do B.E courses.
