Hindustan Aerospace is run by a private body, but it is approved by DGCA, Govt, of India for AME course. This is one of the best Aircraft Maintenance Engineering colleges in India.

Hi Radhika, MAT score was acceptable until last year. According to notification of DTE only CAT, CET, CMAT scores will be considered for admission. I would also request you to go through DTE website regularly if there are changes.

The two colleges offer different courses, SIOM provides an MBA in operations management and SIIB has international business course. In terms of learning SIOM has a good curriculum. Apply to the university and await a call from the admission authorities. The steps followed to secure admission at this institute for B.Tech. in Marine Engineering are mentioned below.
Personal Interview:
Shortlisted candidates are called for personal interview based on marks obtained in IMUCET, the panel also looks for any extracurricular achievements of the candidate.
If applications received between 26 April and 31 May 2018 then candidates do not have to appear for the personal interview.
Final Selection
Candidates are selected based on the10+2 marks, IMUCET rank, marks obtained in TMISAT, medical fitness as per DGS norms and performance

Yes, why not. Although just few seats are there for non Maharashtra students, provided to those who have good scorers. Roughly they accept around 97% from general category students. 65% intake is on the basis of MHCET and 35% on the basis of CMAT/CAT. Rest, for fair cutoff, check on official website.
