BTech placements at VIT Pune are decent. The institute runs an active Training and Placement Office that plays an active role in ensuring that the students are industry-ready through various seminars, guest lectures, workshops, and training. Every year, over 250 companies visit for Campus Placements. As per the recent placement reports, a total of 83 companies visited the campus during VIT Pune placements 2024. VIT Pune BTech course duration is four years, which consists of eight semesters. However, candidates can complete the BTech course in three years in the lateral-entry admission. Candidates are offered admission from the second semester onwards for the BTech lateral-entry course. The course duration is three years and has six semesters.
