In order to enroll at Sinhgad College of Engineering's B.E./B.Tech program applicants must have completed their 10+2 coursework with a minimum of 50% (45% for Maharashtra's reserved categories) in Physics, Mathematics, and one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Technical Vocational subjects. They have to show up for MHT-CET or JEE Main and score more than zero. As an alternative, applicants may apply if they have a 50% (45% for restricted groups) Diploma in Engineering and Technology. The Centralized Admission Process (CAP) is used for admission.

The basic need to join Dr. D.Y. Patil College Of Engineering And Innovation is:
1: Students have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology by obtaining at least 50% marks.
2:At least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only.
3:Students have obtained score in MHT CET 2025.
4:Students have obtained score in JEE (Main) Paper I or MHT-CET 2025.

1. PDEA's College of Engineering, Hadapsar
Mechanical Engineering – 47.46 percentile (Round 1)
Others were above 48 percentile:
- Imperial College, Wagholi – 48.51%
- PCCOE, Pune – 48.09%
- I²IT, Hinjawadi – 48.96%
Only PDEA had cutoff below 48 percentile in 2024.

- Candidate typically needs to qualify on the bases of their performance in JEE Mains or MHT CET exams
- And a minimum of 50 percent in their 10th and 12th standard is required for general category and there is no specific age limit.
