No, CMAT is not compulsory to get admissions into the PGDM course at Taxila Business School. As the institute accepts scores from other entrance examinations too for admissions to PGDM courses. Therefore, CMAT can be considered as one of the accepted entrance exams for admissions to the PGDM course. However, it is not compulsory.

Yes, Taxila Business School does offer scholarships to PGDM students on the basis of merit, which is evaluated according to candidates' achieved scores in the entrance exams and in their previous academic qualifications.
Based on Entrance Exam:
Candidates with CAT/ XAT 90% and above will be awarded INR 2 lakh.
Candidates with MAT/ CMAT/ ATMA 90% and above marks will be awarded INR 1 lakh
Candidates with CAT/ XAT 80% and above marks will get INR 1 lakh
Candidates with MAT/ CMAT/ ATMA 80% and above marks will get INR 50000

The admission process for the MBA/ PGDM course at IBS Jaipur and Taxila Business School is almost similar, in which candidates are required to complete the basic eligibility criteria first, which is completing graduation with an aggregate of 50%. Additionally, the selection process for both schools is entrance-based. The only difference is the accepted entrance examination at both institutes. Refer to the table to know the accepted entrance exam:
