Mewar University BPharma selection criteria include qualifying the entrance exam. The university conducts its own entrance exam Mewar University Entrance Exam (MUEE), for its undergraduate course. However, candidates can also go for the Common University Entrance Test also known as CUET UG for the selection rounds. The university is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2 (f) of the UGC Act, 1956, with powers to confer degrees under section 22 (1) of the same act. Additionally, the University is also approved u/s 12B of UGC Act, 1956 and NAAC accredited.

The Department of Pharmacy at Mewar University offers a BPharma programme in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a yearly intake of 100 students. The curriculum has been following the CBCS pattern with a semester system since 2013. The course consists of theory and practical classes each semester, with eight semesters in total. In addition to the compulsory subjects, internal electives and external elective subjects are also offered. Mewar University follows the course syllabus and scheme as per PCI norms.
