LPU has a much larger campus, more CSE specializations (AI, Data Science, Cyber Security, etc.), a bigger recruiter pool, and stronger national-level exposure. Many national and multinational IT companies visit LPU, and the coding culture, hackathons, and internship opportunities are broader in scale. Competition is higher, but opportunities are also more.

JIET Jodhpur is a decent regional college and can be suitable if you prefer staying near home and want lower overall expenses. However, in terms of overall brand value, industry exposure, and number of placement opportunities in CSE, LPU generally has an advantage.

I looked into LPU for B.Sc Agriculture, and from what I've seen, it's a place where you spend time in labs and on the farm, not just reading from books. LPU is the first private university in India with ICAR accreditation, so the degree follows national standards. You also get soil testing labs, plant pathology labs, polyhouses, and research farms, along with field visits, workshops, and projects.

Colleges like Amity, JCERC, and Jaipur National University offer similar programs, but LPU gives more chances to try things yourself and see agriculture in practice. Placements have reached up to ₹19.25 LPA with companies like Syngenta, ITC

No, 7K rank is not a good rank for NIFT Jodhpur admissions if you belong to the General AI category. This category had the cutoff ranging between 242 and 2636

However, if you belong to the SC or ST All India quota, a rank of 7000 could get you admission to a few courses. For the SC AI category, admissions closed at a rank of 8791, and for the ST AI quota, admissions were capped at 8801. Students can refer to the table below to know which courses are available based on the last round cutoff rank.

NIFT Jodhpur cutoff 2025 for the OBC AI category was 798 in the first round, which later increased to 5797 in the last round. As per the last round, the most and least competitive courses for admission were MFM and BDes in Textile Design, respectively. 

Students can refer to the table below for the round 1 and last round cutoff ranks for various courses.

 NIFT Jodhpur cutoff 2025 was released for admission to various courses, namely BFTech, MFM and BDes course branches for multiple All India categories. For the General AI category, students needed a rank of  2636 or below to be eligible for admission.
