You should have completed your graduation from a recognised university. You should have secured a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in your graduation if you belong to the general category. If you belong to a reserved category such as SC/ST/OBC, you need to have secured a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate in your graduation. NIRF ranking depends on a lot of factors, you can not solely depend on NIRF ranking while choosing a college NIRF depends upon - Teaching, Infrastructure, Placements, Research opportunity. But you should SEE what your priorities are and what course are you going to pursue there, but BITS is far better than VIT in ALL RESPECTS if you are getting BIT's must go for it. Great infrastructure, Placements, Brand value on top.

For taking admission into BA / BA (H) / B.Sc / B.Com / B.Com (H) / BCA, candidates have to pass in 10+2 (PCM) with at least 60% aggregate marks for All India (minimum 45% for Rajasthani Quota)
For getting admission into B.Arch, candidates must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics as a compulsory subject
