For admission in nit rourkela atleast you need 180 marks if you belongs to general obc and 130 marks if you belongs to sc st category.

Hi, It's going to be difficult to find a fully funded Masters programme. You can check the DAAD scholarship for Indian students, they are merit-based and mostly funded in principle of research, only a few Masters programmes can be eligible. See if you can apply for MS/Ph.D programmes which in some cases may be atleast partially funded.

The placement stats for any institute depends on the student's caliber to crack the job. While NIT Rourkela has always seen significant placements in every batch over the years, it depends on the student's performance as well.

Hello Shubham,
There are few vacancies every year due to shortage of admissions in various engineering colleges across the country. The institutes also releases notification for admission into such seats by non-gate candidates.
I suggest you to search for such institutes as these seats are less in number.
