Swami Vivekanand University has a dedicated placement cell which help the students.  As per the Shiksha students' reviews, the average package in recent placements ranged between INR 4 LPA and INR 7 LPA. Every year around 70% of the batch gets successfully placed. Furthermore, the highest package offered in recent drives was INR 8 LPA. The top recruiters are PhonePe, Adani Group, Nike, and others.

According to Shiksha ratings, the faculty of SVU Kolkata has been rated 4.5 out of 5. Faculty at SVU Kolkata conducts practical sessions, and case studies, with subject-specific resources and the latest technology to help students. The well-stocked library, helps students to find study material. The university also includes guest faculty and industry experts to assist students.

Swami Vivekananda University has a strong record of placements for courses such as BTech,  BPT,  BCA,  MBA, etc. According to the NIRF Report for the academic year 2022-2023, the the highest package offered was INR 25 LPA. Swami Vivekananda University Barrackpore reviews states that the top recruiters of the university in 2023 included Wipro, PwC, Panacea Smart Solutions, Focus Edumatics, Tata, Hi-Tech, Alumnus, VECE, etc.

The total seats offered for MBA/PGDM at DSU - Dayananda Sagar University and Dayananda Sagar College Of Engineering are 144 and 120, respectively. Hence, there are higher chances of getting a seat at DSU - Dayananda Sagar University due to higher seats.

The median salary package offered to the students after finishing MBA/PGDM from DSU - Dayananda Sagar University is INR 500,000. While, the Median package offered by Dayananda Sagar College Of Engineering after completion of MBA/PGDM is INR 450,000. Basis these stats, DSU - Dayananda Sagar University is better option compared to Dayananda Sagar College Of Engineering on the Median salary parameter.

DSU - Dayananda Sagar University and Dayananda Sagar College Of Engineering both are renowned universities for B.E. / B.Tech. However, in terms of affordability, DSU - Dayananda Sagar University is a better option since the total tuition fee for DSU - Dayananda Sagar University is INR 386,296 - INR 1,708,000 and the total tuition fee for B.E. / B.Tech at Dayananda Sagar College Of Engineering is INR 386,296 - INR 1,800,000.
In the total fees that students generally end up paying the university or the college, various other components are also included, such as the exam fee, application fee, lab and other charges.

The fee structure for DSCE BTech CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) under the Management quota is INR 4.2 Lacs per year. Apart from this, Students must pay other fees as well every year. The minimum eligibility required for BTech programme is:

  • Class 10: Minimum 70% aggregate in Mathematics and Science subjects separately
  • Class 12: Minimum 65% (including Mathematics and Physics) in pre-board exams

If a candidate has studied from a board other than an Indian Education Board, he/she must compulsorily apply and get an AIU equivalence certificate from New Delhi.
