For 2025 admission, the Round 1 closing ranks varied between 1384 and 1686 for the students belonging to the General AI quota. Of all the MSc specialisations, the one with the lowest cutoff rank of 1384 was the MSc in Mathematics. For other specialisations along with their GATE CCMN first-round closing ranks, check out the table provided below:

Yes NIFT Shillong offers the SARTHAK scholarship to make higher education more acccessbile for eligibile candidates. The institute offers the SARTHAK financial aid scheme to candidates based on the annual income of their parents. Candidates whose parents earn upto INR 1.5 Lacs are given 100% waiver in tuition fee.

To get admission in NIFT Shillong, follow the below steps:
- Candidates must take the NIFT Entrance Exam in order to be admitted to NIFT Shillong.
- Candidates must clear the cutoff for the course they have applied to
- Candidates are invited for the interview rounds based on their entrance performance.
- After that, candidates must sign up for NIFT Shillong counseling.

You can get CSE in GFTI as per the JoSSA counselling cutoff last year. You cannot get any branch, like CSE, ECE in NIT at this rank.

IPMAT is conducted by IIM Indore for admission to its IPM programme. The IPMAT Indore scores are also accepted by various other top Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). The colleges which accept IPMAT Indore scores include IIM Indore, IIM Ranchi, IIM Amritsar, IIM Sirmaur, IIM Shillong, etc. Each college releases its own IPMAT cutoff for admissions. Hence, there is not common admission test for the IPMAT admissions.
IIM Rohtak also conducts the IPMAT exam for admission to IIM Rohtak's IPM programme.
