IIM Shillong has well-equipped infrastructure spread over 120 acres of area. The campus has classrooms, library, computer centre, a sports complex, medical facility, cafeteria, etc. The institute has seperate hostel for boys and girls with all the facilities.

North-Eastern Hill University admission to various courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores. The college accepts several entrance exams for admission to its various courses, such as CUET, JEE Mains, MAT, NATA, GATE, etc. To get admitted to NEHU Shillong, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the college. Further, candidates must secure a minimum aggregate in Class 12 for admission to UG level courses. Whereas, for PG-level courses, candidates must secure a minimum aggregate in their graduation.

If you belong to the General category under the AI quota, admission to the Master of Fashion Management (MFM) course at NIFT Shilong is not possible with a cutoff rank of 800. In 2025, the maximum cutoff required was 532 till Round 3 for MFM admission among the students belonging to the General AI quota. However, a cutoff rank of 800 is a decent rank to get admission to the MFM course for students other than those in the general category. Hi! If you want to take admission in B.Sc B.Ed in NEHU, Shillong, you need to take the NCET exam conducted by NTA and apply online via NEHU's portal. Eligibility is 10+2 with 50% if Gen or 45% for sc/st. Just register yourself, pay the fees and wait for the merit list.
