To get a seat at NIT Meghalaya for BTech specialisations, candidate must attain the rank as per the category they belong to. NIT Meghalaya JEE Main cutoff 2025 was released for the first round. As per the cutoff for the General AI category candidates, the closing ranks in round 1 varied between 19623 and 44560. Looking at the cutoff ranks, it can be said that getting admission to NIT Meghalaya at 40000 rank is easy. Though the choice of specialisation would be limited at this rank. In Round 5, the NIT Meghalaya CCMN cutoff 2026 was only released for the M.Sc. in Physics branch, with the Round 5 score of 2937. Admission to the M.Sc. in Mathematics and M.Sc. in Chemistry courses was closed in the fourth round, with scores of 2431 and 2389, respectively.

Yes NIFT Shillong offers the SARTHAK scholarship to make higher education more acccessbile for eligibile candidates. The institute offers the SARTHAK financial aid scheme to candidates based on the annual income of their parents. Candidates whose parents earn upto INR 1.5 Lacs are given 100% waiver in tuition fee.

To get admission in NIFT Shillong, follow the below steps:
- Candidates must take the NIFT Entrance Exam in order to be admitted to NIFT Shillong.
- Candidates must clear the cutoff for the course they have applied to
- Candidates are invited for the interview rounds based on their entrance performance.
- After that, candidates must sign up for NIFT Shillong counseling.

You can get CSE in GFTI as per the JoSSA counselling cutoff last year. You cannot get any branch, like CSE, ECE in NIT at this rank.
