No, you can't get admission to Kashmir University MSc programme in psychology without taking an entrance exam. The university uses entrance exams like CUET, JEE Main, GATE, CMAT, and GPAT for admission to several UG and PG courses.

Yes, its hard to get admission at NIT Srinagar. For BTech for which admission is done based on JEE Main scores. Other than the BTech and M.Tech courses,  NIT Srinagar also offers MSc, MBA and PhD programmes. Candidates shortlisted through JEE Main and GATE exams need to appear for JoSAA and CCMT Counselling for NIT Srinagar course admissions to BTech and M.Tech programmes.
