If you have done intermediate BiPC or MPC and a minimum percentage of 60, you are eligible to apply. Applications have to be sent to BITS, Pilani, after the notification appears in an Indian newspaper. Admission exams and interviews take place in July. The course begins on the first Monday of the month of August.

For MCA, 60% is the eligibility criteria but you can take admission directly in any of these colleges like SRM, VIT. After the counseling process, few seats are left. So, to fill those seats they take some of the students for that you have to book your slot earlier.

Placement at IMT Hyderabad is very decent. For the Batch 2015-17, IMT, Hyderabad's average package is INR 7 LPA and the highest package is INR 22.5 LPA. More than 70 companies come for recruitment. For the Batch of 2016-18: 95% students placed with average package 7.2 LPA.

It purely depends on the JEE score and not on boards percentage. After all, getting an NIT depends on the choices you have filled in the counselling and which branch you want in a particular NIT.
