No, MAT scores are not compulsory for admissions to the PGDM course at ICBM-SBE, because the college also considers several other entrance exam scores for admissions to the PGDM course. The names of the accepted entrance exams are-  CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ MAT/ GMAT/ State level entrance test. Thus, applicants with valid scores in MAT can get admission to the PGDM course. However, it is not compulsory.

However:

  • Attendance is usually important because many universities and AICTE guidelines require a minimum of 75% attendance for eligibility to sit for semester exams.
  • If a student does not attend regularly, they may face issues with internal marks, assignments, and eligibility for exams.

So yes, for the MBA regular program, attending college is necessary.

To consider if it is worth pursuing an MBA at Osmania University, applicants can compare the tuition fee with the median package offered by the university. The tuition fees of the course range from INR 32,500 to INR 3.1 lakh, and the median package offered by the university to MBA graduates ranges between INR 3.2 Lacs and INR 6 lakh.

Conclusively, the Osmania University MBA ROI is decent. The amount students are spending on their course in two years, they are getting similar or more returns in the form of a package annually.
