For admission to SASTRA University for the flagship MBA (or PGP) course, the result of CAT 2023 can be expected by the last week of December 2023 (If the CAT conducting body follows the trend as in 2022). However, if the trend is not followed, the same will most probably be out by the first week of January 2024. After the release of result, the exam takers will be able to download their CAT scorecards from the official website using their login credentials for SASTRA University admission.

For admission to MBA (or PGP) 2024 batch at SASTRA University, the CAT test will be conducted on November 26, 2023. Aspirants of SASTRA University are required to appear for the exam in Computer Based Testing mode at the allotted test centres. CAT exam 2023 will be held in three slots:
Morning slot: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
Afternoon slot: 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM
Evening slot: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM
Earlier, the CAT exam used to be of 180 minutes with 100 questions but in 2020, both exam duration and number of questions were reduced due to COVID-19 pandemic. Now, starting CAT 2022, the total number of questions stands at 66 as part of CAT pattern.

Candidates willing to take admission to the MBA programme at SASTRA University must fulfil the following requirements:
- The candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- For admission to the MBA programme at SASTRA University, candidates will have to fill out the online application form through SASTRA University official website by paying the required fee for final submission.
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on their scores in CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ AIMCAT
- Those who qualify will be required to report to the admission cell at SASTRA University for document verification and fee payment for final seat allotment.

There are no cutoff details available on SASTRA University official website for admission to the MBA programme. SASTRA University inducts candidates for the MBA programme based on valid scores in CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ AIMCAT. Candidates based on their scores in any one of the aforementioned exam will be shortlisted for the Personal Interview (PI) round.

SASTRA offers B. Tech admittance through the next two streams listed below. In order to be safe for admission to CSE from above in stream 1, the JEE Main percentile and 12th grade grades must be above 95%. Otherwise, marks from the 12th grade of at least 98% are sufficient for admission under stream 2. Additionally, you can verify the cutoff on the official website to acquire accurate information.
