No, this is not true. For international students, the admission intakes at UCLAN University UK are September and January. For now the Sep 2026 applications are open. Its application deadline is in July 2026. Many courses of UCLAN University are available for Jan 2027 intake. A few of the study disciplines for these courses are-
- Business & Management
- LLB
- Business & Tourism
- MSc in Aerospace Engineering
- MSc in Computing
- MSc in Cybersecurity

Yes, Indian students who want to take admission to UCLAN University UK should submit an IELTS score. A waiver is also there for Indian students. The details are given below-
- UG: IELTS with 6.0 score (minimum 5.5 component score) or 70% in Year 12 English
- PG: IELTS with 6.0 overall score (with no component score below 5.5) or 70% or 75% in Class 12 English

As a matter of fact, they are quite similar in terms of rankings. In the QS 2027 rankings, MIT has been ranked the best institution in the world and ICL at #2.
Both of the universities are highly regarded for their STEM and Business courses. Given below are the reasons as to why ICL may be a better choice for Indian students and not MIT -

Yes, Cardiff Uni is highly worth it for Indian students. It more than makes up for its high tuition costs via it's:

Getting admission to Cardiff Uni is very competitive for Indian students. The university acceptance rate is only 20%, which suggest students with strong academics with active social participation are generally preferred for admission.
Indian students need a UG degree with a minimum 60% to be eligible for entry to PG courses. For entry to a UG programs, completing Class 12th with a minimum overall average of 78%-81% (except Hindi and Physical Education) is generally considered acceptable.
