• The applicants are required to have a Higher Secondary School Certificate 12 with at least 65% - 70%

• Or, SELT (Example: IELTS) at 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each category)
• A personal statement of 300-500 words
• Creative courses may also ask for portfolio / audition

Postgraduate Courses

• The applicants are required to have a bachelor’s degree, 2:2 minimum*
• Moreover, the applicants are required to have English HSSC 12 at 70% (CISCE and CBSE boards only)
• Or, SELT (Example: IELTS) at 6.5 (with no less than 5.5 in each category)
• A personal statement of 500-700 words

(*: The duration should be at least three years, unless the applicants have completed a 2 year’s bachelor’s and a 2 years master’s degree)

Here are some of the available scholarships and their eligibility criteria:
Birkbeck Business School Master's Scholarships 2025: International students domiciled in India or Nigeria, starting on one of the master's courses offered by the Birkbeck Business School (Management, Economics, and Organizational Psychology) in October or January and studying full time.

Birkbeck International Excellence Scholarships: International overseas tuition fee-paying students holding an unconditional offer on a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught programme offered by Birkbeck, starting in Autumn. Must be ordinarily a resident of a country in the relevant region and self-funded.

Birkbeck Global Future Scholarships: The scholarship will be applied as a discount to the tuition fee for the first year of study, to bring it in line with the Home tuition fee amount for the course.

Birkbeck Access to Postgraduate Study Scholarship: Students accepted onto a master's degree programme at Birkbeck beginning in the 2025-26 academic year.
