For the applicants seeking admission to the University of Surrey, there is a fee for submitting a UCAS application. However, in the case of postgraduate courses, there is no University of Surrey application fee. Undergraduate Admission

To take admission to the MSc Accounting and Finance course, the University of Surrey admission requirements are given below:

• A minimum of 2:2 UK Honors degree in Accountancy, Banking, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Management or Mathematics or an equivalent recognised international qualification. In other words, international students must achieve an overall average of at least 55% or 60% in undergraduate study, depending on the institution students have completed their degree
• The university can consider the relevant work experience if students do not the above-given requirements. If students have at least 1 year of relevant experience in a full-time graduate level, then provide full details of roles and responsibilities in the personal statement and CV
• English language requirements: IELTS Academic (6.5 overall with 6.0 in each element) or other equivalent English language test scores

University of Surrey application steps for admission to the MBA course are given below:

Make application- To apply applicants can apply through University of Surrey application portal. Upload all documents that are required to complete application
Interview- Once application has been submitted acknowledgment mail is sent by university. University aims to contact all eligible applicants for interview within 10 days of receiving an application
Offer and confirmation- If the applicants are successful in interview, they are going to receive an offer of study along with confirmation as to whether university will be granting a scholarship or not. University of Surrey asks successful MBA applicants to confirm and accept the place electronically within 28 days of an offer

The Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS) is a unique reference number that students need when they make their student visa application. CAS is basically a confirmation of the unconditional offer of place to study with the University of Surrey. It is an electric document that confirms both the university’s and the students’ personal details and generates a unique CAS number.

Note that the CAS cannot be issued more than six months before the start date of the intended program.

• The earliest that students can use their CAS to apply for their visa from outside the UK is six months before the programme begins
• The earliest that students can use their CAS to apply for their visa from inside the UK is three months before the programme begins

After the University of Surrey has received the application from UCAS, the University of Surrey sends the applicants an email confirming that it has received the same. The University of Surrey entry requirements for Indian applicants seeking admission to postgraduate courses are given below:

• For postgraduate courses that require 2:1, students must have an at least overall average of 60% or 65% in their undergraduate study, depending on the institute from where they have completed their degree
• For postgraduate courses that require 2:2, students must have an at least overall average of 55% or 60% in their undergraduate study, depending on the institute from where they have completed their degree
• For courses that require a UK first-class degree in order to be eligible for scholarship, students must have an at least overall average of 65% or 70% in their undergraduate study, depending on the institute from where they have completed their degree
• Generally, the University of Surrey does not require IELTS for Indians to study in postgraduate taught course. However, the university is able to accept 70% in the 12th board exams from CBSE / ISC board and 80% in the 12th board exam English from the majority of Indian state boards (Note: This rule does not apply to every Indian state board and the university reserves the right to ask for IELTS or any other SELT, wherever needed)
