University of the West of England accepts international undergraduate applications either through UCAS or through an agent. Postgraduate students can apply to UWE Bristol through the Application Portal available on the university's website or through an agent. While applying to the university, students are required to submit the following documents:
- Official academic marksheets/transcripts;
- Official English language exam scores;
- Financial documents;
- Student visa; and
- Copy of passport.

At Loughborough University the standard IELTS English language requirement is 6.5 overall with 6.0 in each individual element (reading, writing, listening and speaking). Some Schools/Departments may require higher levels of English language than those specified.
For those students who do not meet the IELTS requirement, Loughborough University offers a number of pre-sessional English language programmes as an alternative way to satisfy the requirements.

The requirements are as followed:
- 60%
- Applicants must have undergraduate degree classifications i.e. first-class honours, upper second-class honours and lower second-class honours
- Institutions listed on the Indian Ranking of Higher Educational Institutions Framework with 55% (First) in Lower second-class honours degree
- All other Indian institutions with 60% (First) in Lower second-class or honours degree
A 2:2 honours degree (or equivalent international qualification) in any discipline (except computer science).

The CAS letter is issued once all conditions of the offer have been met and your place is confirmed at the university. Your CAS can only be produced three months prior to the start of your course. The majority of CAS’ are sent out in August in plenty of time for your visa to be granted. As soon as you receive the letter, you can file for a UK student visa.

Yes, University of the West of England allows international students to work while studying in the university. Students are allowed to work for:
- 20 hours a week if studying at degree level or above (this includes undergraduate, Masters and PhD courses).
- 20 hours a week if on a study abroad programme at UWE Bristol.
- 10 hours per week if studying a course below degree level at UWE Bristol.
- 10 hours per week if the candidate has immigration permission as a Tier 4 (Child).

Yes, University of the West of England offers generous scholarships to their international students, as a tuition fee remission. Successful candidates are notified in writing and receive the scholarship award letter. UWE Bristol's scholarships for international students are one-off awards and are non-renewable in nature.
